party!

Far from The Luma Sea, deep inside the elves’ cave, there was a celebration happening. The glowing ball gave off more light than anything else they had ever acquired. Elves don’t need anything spectacular to happen in order to have a party, however, this find called for a grand celebration. All the elves in the cave attended. They danced to music with a fast paced beat. The ball was spinning in the middle of the room, shining its wonderful colors all over the walls. The elves were ecstatic.

“I’m so glad Zariah found this great magical ball.” exclaimed Loranae.

“Magical indeed,” Ganger yelled over the loud music, “Adeem’s been doing some experiments with plants and tells me that the ball can make plants grow ten times as fast as they do under the light of any other objects we have.”

“Wow! That’s great news.”

“Yes indeed, he also expressed some concerns about the ball.”

“Oh, what of it?”

“Well, it seems that weird things have been happening around the ball.”

“Like what?”

“Adeem told me that sometimes, when he’s working in the lab, he gazes into the sphere's center and can see things.”

“What kind of things?”

Ganger leaned in and wispered into Loranae’s ear,

“Things from the past.”

“What! No, you’re making that up.”

“I am not. That is what he said. He said he could see us, you, me, Zariah and himself walking down the bristled path below Lucky mountain and finding the ball just like it happened.”

“Adeem told me something else that is unbelievable.”

“What’s that?”

“He told me that he could see things which have not yet been; things from the future.”

Loranae, although getting very spooked by this, was very interested in what Adeem had seen.

“What things of the future did he see?” she asked.

“You will have to ask him.” Ganger replied. “I can’t explain it, it’s too weird.”

Loranae nodded her head in a trance-like state and walked over to where Adeem was standing.

“Adeem?”

“Yes Loranae.”

“Ganger tells me you have seen glimpses of the future inside the ball. Is this true?”
