It was very dark and difficult to see at the bottom. Shadows seemed to come alive almost warning Jesse to go home. Just when Jesse was worried enough to do just that…
“Aaaaaah! Computer, what is that?”
“Doing search now Jesse… Jesse, I believe that this is what the dragon in the desert was referring to. It’s a seahorse.”
“What should I do? How are we going to communicate with it?”
“Jesse, may I suggest that we send a signal in seahorse language?”
“You can do that?”
“Yes, I understand many foreign languages.”
Jesse proclaimed, “Alright, let’s do it, I guess. Computer…transmit this message.”
“Hello there, my name is Jesse. I was sent to you by the giant dragon from the desert.”
Computer recorded Jesse’s words and translated them to the language of the seahorse. Computer then relayed the message to the seahorse with his sophisticated amplifier. Jesse waited anxiously for a response.
“Jesse.”
“What is it computer?”
“I am receiving a signal.”
“What is it saying?”
“It sounds like, “Hello there Jesse, my name is Krasanda. You had me very puzzled because your vessel looks very much like a seashell and seashells don't normally talk.”
“Wow, it works! Alright, send her another message. This time say,
“I am looking for the Bird who does not belong.”
Computer worked his magic and transmitted the new message.
“Receiving response now,” said Computer. “The seahorse says - ‘I do know of the Bird who does not belong, follow me and I will take you to him’.”
Joyfully Jesse replied. “Great Computer, you are a genius!”
The giant seahorse began to flutter its fins and slowly move. They passed many strange and colorful creatures on the way and had a very interesting conversation with one another, thanks to computer’s great translation technology. When they finally arrived at an entrance to a cave Krasanda said.
“This is as far as I can go, you will have to continue on alone.”
