“Interesting, a gnome you appear to be. How would you like to make a trade? I’ll give you two dozen sea urchins for your holographic imaging device. Sea urchins are a rare commodity around here and they live almost indefinitely.”
Jesse was surprised.
“Sorry, wha…”
“I want your cool holographic device, can I have it? I want to lighten up my cave with 3-D pictures. It gets so dark and dismal in here sometimes.”
Jesse replied. “To use it you would have to fit into my ship and as you can see, it’s far too small for your gargantuan body.”
“Good point. So what brings you to Sparasa?”
“I am looking for a glowing sphere which may have crash landed on your planet.”
“Ahhhh, yes, the ball. I know of this ball.”
Jesse got so exited. “You do!?”
“Yes. It’s been bouncing all over the planet. Quite a remarkable thing.”
“I must find it, it is very important!”
“Not only to you is this ball important. It has become a treasure around here as well.”
“What do you mean?”
“Inquisitive little gnome, shall I tell you a story?”
“Alright”
The big bird got comfortable and began.
“Not long ago, my good friend Croco was searching the old ship ruins for treasures when he discovered a beautiful glowing ball. He said it was so shiny he could see his own reflection in it. He took the ball and carried it across The Great Luma Sea to Lucky Mountain, where it would be guarded for eternity by the dragons of wishful dreams.”
Jesse was already beginning to feel a little uneasy, although he had already met a friendly dragon, he was still afraid because of all the scary stories he had read when he was young.
“Do the Dragons have it?” Jesse asked impatiently.
