On this planet Jesse was so light that he could jump off the flower without causing any bodily harm - so he leaped off the flower and landed on the ground. Much to his surprise he landed on a clear path. He turned up his helmets audio amplification device and began to follow the path in the direction of the music.
As Jesse walked, the music got louder and louder. Something was very strange about it. It seemed to be saying his name, over and over. This was very hypnotic to Jesse and made him increasingly curious about the source. As he approached, he removed his helmet and hid behind a bush to get a better look at this mysterious being. Now there was no mistake about it. The creature was singing his name and very loudly. Jesse could not resist its charm. He had to confront his fears and try to communicate with it, so he slowly crept on towards the creature. Just then a twig snapped beneath his feat. The music stopped. All was silent.
“Who goes there?” a voice said.
“My name is Jesse. I am a gnome from Mala. I’m on a very important mission.”
“Ahhh yes Jesse, I have the thing in which you seek.”
“Jesse’s heart raced with excitement. Could this really be it?” he thought.
“You have the time-space machines missing component?”
“Yes, I do. I was sent by the chief of the elves to find the one named Jesse and return the ball to him. The fairy told us that he would know what to do. You must hurry and return it quickly. Terrible things which the fairy warned us about have already began to happen.”
“Then we must go at once back to my ship. I have the necessary technology to send it back to where it belongs.”
