Jesse, with a sense of misgiving, thought to himself,
“I must be strong. I must complete my mission.”
To boost his confidence, he thought of his ship, which was one of the fastest in the universe. He could fold up within the blankets of time, and cut through space to the Elvin planet in just mere seconds. Regaining focus, Jesse boarded his ship.
“Good morning Jesse.”
“Good morning computer.”
“Computer, test plasma generator.”
“Plasma generator functional.” The computer replied.
“Now set course for the Planet Sparasa, in the Hugo star system.”
“Course is set to Sparasa.”
“Jesse?”
“Yes Computer.”
“Why are we going to the planet Sparasa?”
“We must go because we have a very important mission. A critical component of the quantum time generator has spun off into the Hugo star system. Our assignment is to retrieve it and return it to Demour before the dimensions start to overlap one another.”
“What would happen if the dimensions overlapped one another?”
“I’m not exactly sure. Demour told me it would cause much confusion. We should be careful when cutting through space for if we do not retrieve the ball before the dimensions collide there may be a chance that we will not get back home to Mala.”
“Jesse?”
“Yes computer.”
“My information storage system is showing me pictures of giant reptilian beasts called dragons. Will we be coming in to contact with any of these creatures? They do look frightening.”
“We need not worry about the dragons computer. They are so large that we may not even register in their field of vision.”
“Oh, that’s a relief.”
Hesitantly Jesse replied, “Umm…yeeeah.”
Jesse then fed the computer his personal access codes and initiated the plasma generator’s hyperspace propulsion system.
“Initiating take-off sequence,” he said. “Take-off sequence confirmed,” the computer replied.
“Ready!? Counting down. 10 9 8 7 6 5 3 2 1 BLLLLASTOFF!”
Fifteen seconds later Jesse had arrived in the Hugo star system.
“Computer, run diagnostics program.”
